Wordle

Wordle creates word clouds which is a picture creates from a poem, sentence, story, document, etc. This program gauges which words are used most commonly or are most important and enlarges those words so that they are clearly visible to the eye. I would like to use this program to make inspirational posters. It could also be applied to phonics. The students could create word clouds or splashes for synonyms, antonyms, rhyming words, compound words, or others. This is certainly a more recreational website for learning but interesting nonetheless.  Source: http://www.wordle.net/
